The groom played the drums in their church band and was delighted with the surprise cake. The 2 in the foreground are acturally cake, the rest are a combination of styrofoam and card stock.

I use a fine mist spray water bottle and I spritz the cake as I spin it on the turntable. The spatula glides over the icing and makes it very smooth.

Thie cymbals were stiff cardstock painted with gold spraypaint and put on wooden dels painted silver. I had no pattern to go by, just pictures and lots of thinking as to how to do it.

I love this! It�s brilliantly layed out. I have a very dear friend that is a drummer, and I have been wanting to do a 3D drum kit for quite a while now. I believe I have very well found my inspiration. Kudos!! Oh and I agree with Ishie�.. nice waer n tear on the drum heads. BEAUTIFUL!!
