We aim to keep CakeCentral.com a positive, safe, and friendly environment for all that come here. We do not have any tolerance for cruelty, or unconstructive/negative comments and posts. If you disagree with someone, or have had a negative experience we encourage you to share, but you must keep your comments respectful and constructive.

Businesses may not use the forum in any way to sell their products or services. Advertising inquiries may be sent using our contact form. All forums are moderated for foul language and commercialized promotional posts. Businesses may not use our website to solicit our members in any way. If you are an author preparing a published work, you may not use any of the content on Cakecentral.com, including but not limted to images, articles, forum posts, private message posts, and recipes. and you may not request "help" or "input" from our members to aid you in your commercial endeavor. If you are a cake decorator and would like input on how to run your business, or questions about setting up a cake decorating business, you may do so in our Cake Decorating Business Forum.

You may not publicly request the personal information of any other member, inluding but not limited to email, phone or address. Posts listing, selling or "giving away" free items will immediately be removed, and your membership may be terminated.

The forums and Private Messages are not a venue for advertisements in anyway. It will be the sole discretion of cakecentral.com and its moderators as to what constitutes an advertisement.
If you are a cake decorator and would like to advertise your business you may enter your business listing for free in our cake decorating business section.

The only place you may upload photos with faces, such as family photos etc, is the CakeCentral.com Lounge. If you upload photos anywhere else in the forum or galleries, Your MUST crop or blur out, all people's faces before uploading them. Uploading photos with people's faces, even your own face is a violation of Cakecentral.com's terms and your forum privileges will be revoked.

It is acceptable to upload a photo containing faces in the form of your personal avatar, you may also share photos of people via Private Message. These are the only areas of our site where it is acceptable to upload photos with faces in them.

The owners of CakeCentral reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

FORUM SIGNATURE

You may post a link to your website in your signature, as long as it does not link to any inappropriate material. You may also have a "counter" or other signature image linked from another website as long as they are within the following guidelines:

1. Images must be no more than 100px high or 600px wide
   (give or take a few pixels)
2. Only 1 Banner image, or Counter may be used in your signature
3. Absolutely no obscene, violent, or adult themed images are permitted.

PRIVATE MESSAGES

Private Messages are only partially private. All Private Messages are stored in our secure database. Only the site administrators have access to the Private Message logs and database. The forum moderators or any other member of cakecentral, do not have access to anyone else's Private Messages (PMs) but their own.

You may not use the Private message system to solicit personal information from another member. If we receive complaints of inappropriate behavior or harassment via the Private Message system, your account may be terminated without notice.

PHOTO GALLERY

You may only upload cake photos that belong to you.
Uploading copyright protected images without permission of the source is not allowed. And will result in having your photo gallery privileges revoked permanently.
Your MUST crop or blur out, all people's faces before uploading your photos. Uploading photos with people's faces, even your own face is a violation of Cakecentral.com's terms and your photo uploading privileges will be revoked.
It's OK to upload photos of cakes that utilize a person's face as part of the decoration. For example, if you made a cake that had a frosting sheet print out of someone's face. That is OK. That is part of the actual decoration of the cake and is acceptable.

Duplicate photos are not allowed.
You may upload 1 photo of a cake and choose the most appropriate photo gallery for that 1 photo. On occasion its OK to upload a different angle of your cake, but we prefer you only do that if it the other photo shows entirely different details of the cake, that are not visible at all in the other photo. Please try and limit any "different" angle photos to just 1, that way there are not more than 2 photos in the gallery of the 1 cake.

"Naughty" or Adult theme cakes
Adult themed cakes may ONLY be uploaded to the Naughty Cake category. Uploading adult themed cakes to any other area will result in you losing your photo gallery privileges permanently.

Do not upload photos of non-food items. Any photos of diaper cakes and/or other crafts/subjects will be deleted immediately

By uploading any photo to CakeCentral.com, you are granting CakeCentral.com (Cake Central, LLC) the right to publish or alter the photo on our public website, as well as any other areas of our content that we see fit. Including, but not limited to, the photo gallery, the Forums, Recipes, Articles and Newsletters.

Commenting on Photos
You may only post positive comments. If the member has specifically asked for criticism on their cake, you may only offer constructive criticism. Any rude, or negative comments input by you will lead to your photo gallery privileges being revoked.

Businesses may not use the galleries, forums, or any other area of cakecentral.com...in any way to sell their products or services. Advertising inquiries may be sent using our contact form. All galleries are moderated for foul language and commercialized promotional descriptions and comments. Businesses may not use our website to solicit our members in any way. If you own a cake decorating/bakery business you may enter your information in our free business listings.

Account De-activation

If for any reason your account has been de-activated by the administrators of CakeCentral.com you may not create a new user account, login to our website under someone else's username or otherwise try to circumvent your account termination/de-activation. If you would like to be a part of the CakeCentral community again, or you feel that your account was terminated/de-activated in error you must contact the CakeCentral.com administrators.

Multiple Accounts

You may not create or operate more than 1 user account per person. If you are having difficulties logging in, please troubleshoot the problem here or you require more than 1 usre account you must contact the CakeCentral.com administrators.
